With only just over a week to go before we begin our exchange, this entry is the first of our blogs to record our trip to USA and District 7870 in New Hampshire and Vermont. We are a team of four young professionals from Sydney, NSW, representing Rotary District 9690. We are visiting D7870 during April and May 2008.
We are David Cook, Rotarian and Team Leader; Amanda Frost, Teacher-Librarian; Robyn McKenzie, High School Teacher and Sports Coach and Teresa Wilson, Australian Government Director. We have been preparing for this exchange over the past six months. We have met our counterparts from USA who arrived here on March 9, and will be completing their visit as we leave next week.
Over the next five weeks you may read and see our exploits on these pages. Our friends and relatives can keep up to date, our colleagues will know where we are and our students can follow our tracks throughout New England, USA.
Next weekend we have our farwell presentation at the District Conference in Mudgee, NSW before we leave our shores on Monday 7 April.
