It's Saturday and we arrived in Lake Placid, NY for the District Conference this morning. After registration, setting up our House of Friendship display and general relaxation we are ready for the start of conference. DG Chris has done a great job, the venue is fabulous and we are looking forward to a great weekend.

congratulations to all- from mudgee to lake placid and all that came in between-sounds like a fabulous experience!
News in Aus is that you also won American IDOL ???(rotary idol that is- with your fantasic rendition of ABBA's Waterloo oops Rotary as the word change goes!!)
Anyhow thankyou to all the many Rotarians who have taken such good care of our Aussie loved ones as they have travelled throughout Vermont and New Hampshire.
