Bon Voyage!
After counting down the months, weeks and days, I can't believe that in a few short hours that we'll be on our way to the airport to begin our GSE experience :) I have been overwhelmed with the generosity and hospitality shown by our own Rotarians over these past months and especially at District Conference over the weekend. Our trip to Mudgee was a great eye-opener as to what Rotary is truely all about and i thoroughly enjoyed the motivational speeches that were given (not to mention Carnivale Night and the fantastic participation in costumes etc!). It has been great to get to know the USA D7870 team and to learn from their experiences of what a great opportunity this exchange is. I know that our team is looking forward to catching up with them in their home towns soon. Well i'd better go and do a final check that i've packed everything and i'll write again next from the US!

goodluck catching up with the USA team- Mr Peck! and all the ladies! Hope the flight was good and that you all got some sleep before the Rotary Adventure begins in earnest. You should all be proud of yourselves and I know that you will represent us Aussies well. And dont forget to thank your host families for taking care of you all from your families back in Aus.

Thank you to all who came to the airport to see the team off. It was a bit of an emotional send off and we will miss our partners greatly. Thank you again. Aaron
I hope you have all arrived without too much jetlag, it sure is a huge haul. Has David found it too cold for gnomes or did he bring snow gear? Everyone that I spoke to at the conference believed that the team gave a great presentation and from RC Parramatta City we wish you well
Cheers
